The Institute of Art and Law is an educational and publishing organisation founded in 1995 with the aim of disseminating knowledge of the law relating to cultural heritage, including the fight against illicit traffic in cultural goods. To this end, we have published commentaries on the major UNESCO Conventions and the UNIDROIT Convention and we organise regular conferences and run distance learning and intensive courses for lawyers, museum officials, auctions houses, etc.
